Ashmina Lamichhane
Multidisciplinary designer based in Surrey working at the intersection of community, identity and visual storytelling.
My work explore diasporic belonging, cultural memory, and intergenerationl relationships through participatory design methods; drawing, mapping and storytelling.
Rooted in community engagement and accessibility, my practice invites people to co-create and share knowledge through creative and playful means. My challenge is to break dominant narratives, reimagine forms of research and build alternative archives.
I’m currently looking for a new full time role and would appreciate learning about any available opportunities that centre community-led design.
